Our proprietary manufacturing process yields the x-ray cassette cover you've been looking for. "The RAD BAG®" has superior tear strength, resistance to blood and bodily fluids, is disposable, and reduces the risk of infection and cross-contamination. Also, when the x-ray cassette is placed properly in our cassette cover, we have pioneered an exclusive formulation for excellent sliding and placement for both wet and dry applications.

For placement, the technologist (only one is needed if using "The RAD BAG®"), then approaches the patient's bed and places the cassette under the sheet and on top of the mattress, wedging the cassette under the patient slightly. The technologist now has the cassette in the starting position. Then, all the technologist has to do is hold on to the sheet and push the cassette directly under the patient in one sliding motion. If any final adjustments to the cassette are needed, the tech can push, pull, or shift the cassette to its desired position.
When the needed radiographs are completed, all the tech needs to do is roll the excess portion of "The RAD BAG®" and pull the cassette right out from under the patient. There is no lifting or logrolling involved using "The RAD BAG®". To better visualize and understand the procedure, please refer to the video on the about page.
